Description

Elevate your sushi experience with this Spicy Tuna Sushi Burrito – a fusion of bold flavors and textures that comes together in just 30 minutes. Packed with fresh tuna, creamy avocado, and fragrant sushi rice, this dish is a delicious and satisfying meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

– 1 pound sushi-grade tuna, diced

– 2 cups cooked sushi rice

– 1 avocado, sliced

– 4 sheets nori (seaweed)

– 2 tablespoons sriracha

– 1 tablespoon soy sauce

– 1 teaspoon sesame oil

– 1/2 cup shredded carrots

– 2 green onions, sliced

– Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, mix the diced tuna with sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.

2. Lay a nori sheet on a clean surface. Spread 1/2 cup of the cooked sushi rice in a thin layer, leaving a 1-inch border on the bottom.

3. Arrange a few slices of avocado, a portion of the spicy tuna mixture, and some shredded carrots and green onions in a line across the center of the rice.

4. Carefully roll the nori sheet tightly around the filling, starting from the bottom and rolling towards the top.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 with the remaining nori sheets and fillings.

6. Slice each burrito roll into 4-5 pieces and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use sushi-grade tuna and freshly cooked, slightly warm sushi rice. Adjust the spice level by adding more or less sriracha to the tuna mixture. Experiment with different veggie fillings like cucumber, radish, or pickled ginger.
