Description

Dive into the irresistible fusion of smoky, tender brisket, creamy beer cheese, and fluffy, golden-brown pretzel bites with these Smoked Brisket & Beer Cheese Pretzel Bombs. They’re a quick and easy game-changing snack or appetizer that will have your taste buds singing!

Ingredients

– 1 lb smoked brisket, shredded

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup beer

– 1 package active dry yeast

– 1 cup warm water

– 3 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 tsp salt

– 1 tbsp baking soda

– 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

1. 1. In a medium bowl, mix together the shredded brisket, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese until well combined. Set aside.

2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the yeast and warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

3. 3. Add the flour and salt to the yeast mixture and stir until a dough forms. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4. 4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and use your thumb to make an indentation in the center.

5. 5. Spoon about 2 tbsp of the brisket and cheese mixture into the center of each dough ball, then pinch the dough around the filling to seal.

6. 6. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the baking soda. Carefully drop the stuffed dough balls into the boiling water, a few at a time, and cook for 30 seconds on each side.

7. 7. Transfer the boiled dough balls to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.

8. 8. Bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes, until the pretzel bites are golden brown.

9. 9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These Smoked Brisket & Beer Cheese Pretzel Bombs are best served fresh and warm, but they can also be reheated in the oven or air fryer. For a spicier twist, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the brisket and cheese filling.
