Description

Indulge in these decadent Red Velvet Valentine’s Day Cinnamon Rolls, perfect for a cozy date night or to share with loved ones. Soft, tender, and infused with rich cocoa and cream cheese frosting, these rolls are a true delight.

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup whole milk

– 1 large egg

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup powdered sugar

– 1 tablespoon heavy cream

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

3. In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.

5. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a large rectangle, about 12×18 inches.

6. In a small bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and heavy cream until smooth.

7. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.

8. Tightly roll the dough into a log, starting from the long side. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces.

9. Place the rolls in the prepared baking dish, spacing them apart.

10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the center is cooked through.

11. Allow the rolls to cool for 5 minutes before drizzling with any remaining cream cheese frosting.

12. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra indulgent touch, drizzle the baked rolls with a simple powdered sugar glaze.
