Ingredients
– 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
– 1 1/2 cups cold water
– 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
– 3 cups heavy cream, whipped
– 40-45 vanilla wafers
– 4 ripe bananas, sliced
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and cold water until well combined.
2. Add the instant vanilla pudding mix and whisk for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens.
3. Gently fold in the whipped heavy cream until fully incorporated.
4. In a serving dish, layer half the vanilla wafers, then half the sliced bananas, and top with half the pudding mixture. Repeat the layers.
5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours before serving.
Notes
For best results, use very ripe, spotty bananas. Adjust the number of vanilla wafers based on the size of your dish. Top with additional whipped cream or a dusting of powdered sugar before serving.
