Description

Indulge in the tropical flavors of Key West with this mouthwatering Grilled Chicken recipe. Juicy chicken breasts are marinated in a vibrant citrus-based marinade, then grilled to perfection for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

– 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 2 tablespoons honey

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon ground cumin

– 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish, combine the orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, honey, garlic, cumin, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper.

2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, making sure they are fully coated. Cover or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.

3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.

5. Grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

6. Transfer the grilled chicken to a serving platter and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving.

Notes

– For best results, marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to fully develop.

– Serve the grilled chicken with a fresh salad, roasted vegetables, or your favorite tropical-inspired sides for a complete and satisfying meal.

– This recipe can also be baked in the oven. Preheat the oven to 400°F and bake the marinated chicken for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
