Description

Juicy, flavorful, and oh-so-satisfying, our grilled chicken thighs are the perfect summer meal. Seasoned with a blend of spices and cooked to perfection over an open flame, these thighs are sure to become a new family favorite.

Ingredients

– 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

– 1 teaspoon dried thyme

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F).

2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

3. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and brush them all over with the olive oil.

4. Generously season the chicken thighs with the spice mixture, making sure to coat them evenly on all sides.

5. Place the chicken thighs on the preheated grill, skin-side down, and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown.

6. Flip the chicken thighs and continue grilling for another 8-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

7. Remove the grilled chicken thighs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken thighs in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, and your favorite herbs for 30 minutes to 1 hour before grilling.
