Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until a dough forms.

6. Gently knead the dough and roll it out on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
