Description

Indulge in the comforting sweetness of Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Sticks – a quick and easy snack or appetizer that’s perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/2 cup warm water

– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Slowly add the warm water and melted butter, mixing until a soft dough forms.

3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 2-3 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a long, thin rope about 1/2-inch thick.

5. Arrange the pretzel sticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.

6. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.

7. Bake the pretzel sticks for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

8. Remove the pretzels from the oven and immediately brush them with the remaining melted butter. Generously sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the top, coating the pretzels evenly.

9. Serve the Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Sticks warm, with your favorite dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

For a more pronounced cinnamon flavor, increase the amount of ground cinnamon to 1 1/2 tablespoons. You can also try sprinkling the pretzels with chopped nuts or drizzling with chocolate for extra indulgence.
