Description

Indulge in the rich, creamy flavors of this Cheesy Puff Pastry with Artichokes and Herbs. The flaky, golden-brown pastry is filled with a savory blend of tender artichokes, melted cheese, and fragrant herbs, making it a quick and easy weeknight dinner that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients

– 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed

– 1 (14 oz) can of artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. 2. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped artichoke hearts, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

3. 3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and place it on a lightly floured surface. Roll it out slightly to smooth any creases.

4. 4. Spread the artichoke and cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

5. 5. Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the filling, creating a rectangular tart.

6. 6. Transfer the tart to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

7. 7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. 8. Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a crisper crust, you can brush the edges of the puff pastry with a beaten egg or milk before baking. You can also experiment with different cheese combinations or add other vegetables to the filling, such as sun-dried tomatoes or spinach.
