Description

Discover the captivating beauty and refreshing taste of Violet Lemonade – a naturally sweetened and vibrant beverage that will transport you to a whimsical oasis.

Ingredients

– 1 cup fresh violet petals

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1 cup fresh lemon juice (approximately 6-8 lemons)

– 6 cups filtered water

– Lemon slices and edible flowers for garnish

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, combine the violet petals and sugar. Pour in the water and bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.

2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the violet-infused syrup steep for 30 minutes.

3. Strain the violet syrup through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the spent petals.

4. In a large pitcher, combine the strained violet syrup and fresh lemon juice. Stir well to combine.

5. Fill glasses with ice and pour the Violet Lemonade over the top. Garnish with lemon slices and edible flowers, if desired.

6. Serve immediately and enjoy the captivating flavors and vibrant hue of this refreshing beverage.

Notes

For a stronger violet flavor, you can steep the petals for up to an hour. The lemonade can also be chilled for at least 2 hours before serving for a more refreshing experience.
