Ingredients
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 3/4 cup granulated sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)
– 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
2. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. 3. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and mashed bananas.
4. 4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
