Ingredients
– 1 pound sushi-grade tuna, thinly sliced
– 1 grapefruit, segmented
– 1 orange, segmented
– 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained
– 1/4 cup olive oil
– 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon honey
– 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
– 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, combine the tuna slices, grapefruit segments, and orange segments.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, white wine vinegar, lemon juice, and honey. Stir in the capers, parsley, and chives. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Drizzle the citrus caper vinaigrette over the tuna and gently toss to coat.
4. Serve the tuna crudo immediately, garnished with additional parsley and chives if desired.
Notes
This dish is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The vinaigrette can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to use.
