Description

This Thanksgiving Trail Mix Recipe is a quick and easy homemade snack mix with toasted nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and holiday spices for a delicious and healthy treat during the holiday season.


Ingredients

– 1 cup raw almonds

– 1 cup raw cashews

– 1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds

– 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds

– 1 cup dried cranberries

– 1/2 cup chopped pecans

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 325°F. Spread the almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds on a large baking sheet.

2. – Bake for 8-10 minutes, stirring halfway, until lightly toasted. Allow to cool completely.

3. – In a large bowl, combine the toasted nuts and seeds with the dried cranberries, pecans, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Toss to mix well.

4. – Store the Thanksgiving Trail Mix in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

For a sweeter trail mix, you can add 2-3 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey before baking the nuts and seeds. You can also substitute different nuts and dried fruits based on your preferences.
