Description
These Thai Sloppy Joe Sliders are a delightful fusion of classic sloppy joe flavors and Thai-inspired seasonings. Packed with savory ground meat, tangy-sweet sauce, and served on soft, toasted buns, they make for a quick and easy weeknight meal the whole family will love.
Ingredients
– 1 pound ground beef or turkey
– 1/2 cup soy sauce
– 1/4 cup sriracha or other hot sauce
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup chopped scallions, plus more for garnish
– 12 slider buns, split and toasted
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground meat, breaking it up as it cooks, until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
2. Stir in the soy sauce, sriracha, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped scallions.
4. Divide the sloppy joe mixture evenly among the toasted slider buns. Top with additional chopped scallions, if desired.
5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a creamier texture, you can stir in a tablespoon or two of mayonnaise or Greek yogurt to the sloppy joe mixture. The sliders can also be served on dinner rolls or small brioche buns.
