This creamy, cheesy Texas Christmas Dip is the ultimate holiday party starter! Loaded with melted cheddar, green chiles, and a blend of spices, it’s sure to be the hit of any gathering.
Ingredients
– 2 blocks (16 oz total) cream cheese, softened
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon chili powder
– 1/2 teaspoon cumin
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– Salt and black pepper to taste
– Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced green chiles, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
4. Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish and smooth the top.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
6. Serve the Texas Christmas Dip warm, with tortilla chips for dipping.
