Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

– 1/4 cup milk


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a baking sheet.

2. – In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.

3. – In a separate bowl, beat the butter until smooth. Stir in the cheese, garlic, and parsley.

4. – Add the milk to the butter mixture and stir until combined.

5. – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.

6. – On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a 12×8-inch rectangle.

7. – Starting from the short side, tightly roll up the dough like a jelly roll.

8. – Slice the roll into 1-inch thick pieces and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.

9. – Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown.

Notes
