Description

Elevate your homemade sugar cookies with this quick and easy Sugar Cookie Frosting. Smooth, creamy, and perfectly sweet, this frosting is the perfect topping for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 4 cups powdered sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with a hand mixer or stand mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition.

3. Mix in the vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of heavy cream or milk. If the frosting is too thick, add an additional 1 tablespoon of cream or milk.

4. Beat the frosting for an additional 2-3 minutes until it’s light, creamy, and spreadable.

Notes

– For a thicker frosting, use less cream or milk. For a thinner, more spreadable consistency, add more.

– This frosting can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

– Try adding a pinch of salt or almond extract for a flavor twist.
