Description

Indulge in the savory deliciousness of our Stuffed Leeks with Meat recipe. Tender leeks are filled with a flavorful meat mixture, then baked to perfection for a comforting and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

– 6 large leeks, trimmed and halved lengthwise

– 1 pound ground beef or pork

– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

– 1 egg, beaten

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon dried thyme

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.

3. Carefully scoop the meat mixture into the hollowed-out leek halves, filling them evenly.

4. Arrange the stuffed leeks in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.

5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the leeks are tender and the filling is cooked through.

6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

– For a creamier filling, add a tablespoon of ricotta or grated cheese to the meat mixture.

– Experiment with different herbs and spices to customize the flavor.

– Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
