Ingredients
– 6 large leeks, trimmed and halved lengthwise
– 1 pound ground beef or pork
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1 egg, beaten
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
3. Carefully scoop the meat mixture into the hollowed-out leek halves, filling them evenly.
