Description
These Sticky Honey Mustard Chicken Wings are the perfect bite-sized appetizer that’s bursting with sweet and savory flavors. The sticky, caramelized sauce perfectly complements the crispy, golden-brown chicken wings, making them irresistible for game day, parties, or any gathering.
Ingredients
– 2 pounds chicken wings, drumettes and flats separated
– 1/2 cup honey
– 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until the sauce is well combined.
3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the sauce.
4. Arrange the coated chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they’re not touching each other.
5. Bake the wings for 30-35 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they’re crispy and golden-brown.
6. Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
7. Serve the Sticky Honey Mustard Chicken Wings warm, with any remaining sauce drizzled over the top. Enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for 2-3 minutes after baking. You can also adjust the spice level by adding more or less cayenne pepper. These wings are best served immediately, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
