Ingredients
– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
– 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
– 1/2 cup diced ham
– 1/2 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Swiss)
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and place it on a lightly floured surface.
3. In a bowl, mix the chopped spinach, diced ham, and shredded cheese.
4. Spread the spinach-ham-cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry sheet, leaving a 1-inch border.
5. Starting from the long side, carefully roll up the puff pastry into a tight log.
6. Whisk the egg and water in a small bowl to create an egg wash.
7. Brush the top and sides of the rolled-up puff pastry with the egg wash.
