Description

Indulge in these delectable Spinach Artichoke Swirls – a savory and flavorful appetizer that’s quick and easy to prepare. Flaky puff pastry envelops a creamy spinach and artichoke filling, creating a mouthwatering treat that’s perfect for entertaining or enjoying as a snack.

Ingredients

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

– 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

– 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

– 1 garlic clove, minced

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. 2. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, Parmesan, spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.

3. 3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to a 12×16-inch rectangle.

4. 4. Spread the spinach artichoke mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.

5. 5. Tightly roll up the pastry, starting from the long side, to create a log.

6. 6. Slice the log into 1-inch thick pieces and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

7. 7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.

8. 8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or a squeeze of lemon juice to the filling. These Spinach Artichoke Swirls can also be made ahead of time and refrigerated or frozen before baking.
