Ingredients

– 1 pound thinly sliced beef bulgogi

– 1 cup spicy kimchi, chopped

– 4 ounces provolone cheese, shredded

– 4 hoagie or sub rolls, toasted

– 1 tablespoon brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, cook the sliced beef bulgogi over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

2. Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss to coat the beef.

3. Divide the seasoned bulgogi evenly among the toasted sub rolls.

4. Top each sandwich with a generous amount of chopped spicy kimchi and shredded provolone cheese.

5. Place the sandwiches under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a few slices of fresh jalapeño to the sandwiches. You can also substitute Swiss or mozzarella cheese if desired.
