Description

Spicy Gochujang Eggs are a quick, easy, and flavorful breakfast that’s ready in just 5 minutes. The eggs are cooked until soft and runny, then coated in a bold, spicy gochujang sauce for a delightful flavor explosion.

Ingredients

– 4 large eggs

– 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)

– 1 tablespoon soy sauce

– 1 green onion, thinly sliced

– 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

1. – Crack the eggs into a small bowl and whisk lightly.

2. – In a small bowl, mix together the gochujang and soy sauce until well combined.

3. – Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour in the whisked eggs and let them cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are soft and cooked to your desired doneness.

4. – Remove the skillet from heat and pour the gochujang sauce over the eggs, gently stirring to coat the eggs evenly.

5. – Transfer the Spicy Gochujang Eggs to a plate and garnish with the sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.

6. – Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a creamier texture, you can add a tablespoon of butter or cream to the gochujang sauce. Adjust the amount of gochujang to your desired spice level. This recipe can also be served over steamed rice for a more substantial meal.
