Description

Spicy Bayou Deviled Eggs are a bold and flavor-packed twist on the classic deviled egg appetizer. With a creamy filling infused with Cajun seasoning, hot sauce, and Dijon mustard, these deviled eggs are sure to liven up any party or gathering.


Ingredients

– 12 hard-boiled eggs

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

– 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

– 2 teaspoons hot sauce

– 2 green onions, finely chopped

– Paprika for garnish


Instructions

1. – Peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.

2. – Carefully scoop the yolks out of the egg whites and place them in a mixing bowl.

3. – Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, and hot sauce to the yolks. Mash and stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

4. – Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg white halves.

5. – Sprinkle the deviled eggs with paprika and chopped green onions.

6. – Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra spicy kick, increase the amount of hot sauce to 1-2 tablespoons. You can also garnish the deviled eggs with crumbled bacon or a drizzle of hot sauce for additional flavor.
