Ingredients
– 1 lb spaghetti
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 4 garlic bread bowls
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. – Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. – In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
4. – Add cooked spaghetti and marinara sauce to the skillet. Toss to coat the spaghetti.
5. – Hollow out the garlic bread bowls, leaving a 1/2-inch thick shell.
6. – Spoon the spaghetti mixture into the hollowed-out bread bowls.
7. – Top each bowl with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
8. – Place the filled bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
9. – Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
Notes
For a heartier meal, you can add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage to the spaghetti mixture. You can also use different types of cheese, such as cheddar or provolone, in addition to or instead of the mozzarella and Parmesan.
