Description

Slow Cooker Marry Me Chicken is a delicious and easy weeknight meal that’s perfect for busy families. Tender, juicy chicken is cooked in a creamy, flavorful sauce that’s made with just a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients

– 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

– 1/2 cup milk

– 1/4 cup water

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

1. Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker.

2. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, milk, and water until well combined.

3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.

4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

5. Shred or slice the chicken and stir it back into the sauce.

6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

7. Serve the Slow Cooker Marry Me Chicken over rice, pasta, or with a side of steamed vegetables. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives.

Notes

This recipe can be easily doubled to feed a crowd. The chicken can also be cooked from frozen, just add an extra 1-2 hours to the cooking time. For a thicker sauce, you can mix in a tablespoon or two of cornstarch at the end.
