Ingredients
– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
– 1 large egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup prepared salted caramel sauce
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. 2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
3. 3. Add the cream cheese and beat until well combined, scraping down the sides as needed.
4. 4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
