Ingredients

– 1 lb salmon fillets, skinned and chopped

– 1 avocado, peeled and pitted

– 1/4 cup sour cream

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tbsp lime juice

– 1 tsp salt

– 1/2 tsp black pepper

– 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro


Instructions

1. 1. In a food processor, pulse the salmon until roughly chopped but still have some texture.

2. 2. Form the salmon mixture into small balls, about 1-inch in size.

3. 3. In a blender, combine the avocado, sour cream, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.

4. 4. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the salmon balls for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned.

5. 5. Serve the salmon balls warm, drizzled with the creamy avocado sauce and garnished with fresh cilantro.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cumin or chili powder to the salmon mixture. The creamy avocado sauce can also be used as a dip for raw veggies or as a topping for grilled fish or chicken.
