Description

Indulge in the rich, creamy goodness of authentic Royal Milk Tea, a Taiwanese specialty that will transport you to a world of pure bliss. This easy-to-make recipe combines the perfect balance of bold tea, sweet milk, and a touch of sugar for a mouthwatering treat you’ll want to savor every sip of.

Ingredients

– 2 cups water

– 2 tablespoons loose-leaf black tea or 2 black tea bags

– 1 cup whole milk

– 2 tablespoons white sugar

Instructions

1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.

2. Add the black tea leaves (or tea bags) and steep for 5-7 minutes, or until the tea has a strong, robust flavor.

3. Strain the tea leaves (or remove the tea bags) and return the tea to the saucepan.

4. Add the milk and sugar to the hot tea and whisk or stir until the sugar has fully dissolved and the mixture is well-combined.

5. Froth the milk by using a milk frother or by vigorously whisking the mixture for 1-2 minutes until it becomes creamy and frothy.

6. Pour the Royal Milk Tea into mugs or glasses and enjoy immediately while hot.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use half-and-half or heavy cream instead of regular milk. You can also experiment with different types of tea, such as oolong or green tea, to create your own unique Royal Milk Tea blend.
