Praline Crunch is a irresistible, sweet and crunchy treat that’s perfect for snacking or using as a topping. Made with just a few simple ingredients, it’s ready in just 10 minutes!
Ingredients
– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
– 1 cup packed brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Add the brown sugar and stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and salt until well combined.
5. Add the pecan halves and stir to coat them evenly in the sugar mixture.
6. Spread the praline mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
7. Allow to cool completely, then break into bite-sized pieces.
8. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
For a chunkier texture, you can chop the pecans before adding them to the sugar mixture. You can also try using different nuts like almonds or walnuts. These make a great topping for ice cream, cakes, or simply enjoy them on their own as a snack.
