Description

Elevate your summer meals with this refreshing and flavor-packed Pineapple Mango Salsa. The perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and a touch of heat, this salsa is a delicious topping for grilled meats, fish, or served as a dip with tortilla chips.

Ingredients

– 1 cup diced fresh pineapple

– 1 cup diced ripe mango

– 1/4 cup diced red onion

– 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced

– 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

– 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the diced pineapple, mango, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper.

2. Stir gently to combine.

3. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

4. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

This salsa is best when made fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The flavors will continue to develop over time. For a milder version, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeño before mincing.
