Description

Ingredients

– 1 package frozen pierogi

– 1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced

– 1 onion, diced

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 cup chicken broth

– 2 tbsp butter

– Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. – Place the frozen pierogi, sliced kielbasa, diced onion, and minced garlic in a slow cooker.

2. – Pour in the chicken broth and stir to combine.

3. – Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pierogi are tender.

4. – Stir in the butter and season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. – Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe can be easily customized – try adding sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, or top with shredded cheese. For a creamier texture, stir in a splash of heavy cream or sour cream before serving.
