Description

Peanut Butter Blossoms are a classic holiday cookie that are easy to make and utterly delicious. Soft peanut butter cookies are topped with a Hershey’s Kiss for a sweet, rich, and irresistible treat.


Ingredients

– 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 3/4 cup granulated sugar

– 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

– 1 egg

– 2 tablespoons milk

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 36 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. – In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

3. – In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the peanut butter, egg, milk, and vanilla until well combined.

4. – Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

5. – Scoop dough by the tablespoonful and roll into balls. Place 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.

6. – Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden on the edges. Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.

7. – Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use creamy peanut butter. You can also try using different varieties of Hershey’s Kisses, like Peanut Butter Cups or Caramel Filled. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
