Ingredients
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
– 6 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
– 2 tablespoons rendered tallow
– 4 hamburger buns, toasted
– 1 tablespoon brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the seasonings are evenly distributed.
3. Divide the seasoned beef into four equal portions and form them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each.
4. Grill or cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
5. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a dry skillet for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
6. Spread a generous amount of peanut butter on the bottom bun of each burger.
7. Top the peanut butter with the grilled beef patty, followed by the crispy bacon slices.
8. Drizzle the tallow over the bacon and top with the remaining bun.
9. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier twist, you can add a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce to the peanut butter before assembling the burgers. The tallow can be replaced with butter or another cooking fat if desired.
