Description
Mustard Hasselback Kielbasa Bites are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that’s perfect for parties, game days, or any occasion. Tender slices of kielbasa sausage are coated in a flavorful mustard glaze and baked until crispy and caramelized.
Ingredients
– 1 lb kielbasa sausage, cut into 1-inch thick slices
– 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
– 2 tbsp brown sugar
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. – In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and minced garlic.
3. – Arrange the kielbasa slices in a single layer on a baking sheet. Using a knife, make parallel cuts across the top of each slice, about 1/4 inch apart, being careful not to cut all the way through.
4. – Spoon the mustard mixture over the top of the kielbasa slices, making sure to get it in between the cuts.
5. – Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the kielbasa is heated through and the glaze is caramelized.
6. – Sprinkle the fresh parsley over the top and serve immediately.
Notes
– For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne pepper to the mustard mixture.
– Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
