Description

This mouthwatering Korean beef recipe is packed with bold, savory-sweet flavors and comes together in just 30 minutes. It’s a quick and easy weeknight dinner that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 1/4 cup soy sauce

– 2 tbsp brown sugar

– 2 tbsp sesame oil

– 2 tbsp rice vinegar

– 1 tbsp grated ginger

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

– 2 green onions, sliced

– Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

1. – In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and crumbled, 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

2. – Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.

3. – Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.

4. – Remove from heat and stir in the sliced green onions.

5. – Serve the Korean beef over rice, in lettuce wraps, or with your favorite sides. Garnish with sesame seeds.

Notes

For a spicier dish, add more red pepper flakes. You can also swap in ground turkey or chicken for the beef. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 4 days.
