Description

Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with this Lobster Mac & Cheese Melt, a creamy, cheesy dish that’s elevated with tender chunks of succulent lobster meat.

Ingredients

– 1 pound elbow macaroni

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

– 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

– 3 cups whole milk

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese

– 1 pound cooked lobster meat, diced

– 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

4. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

5. Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the cheddar and gruyere cheeses until melted and smooth.

6. Stir in the cooked macaroni and lobster meat until well combined.

7. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish and top with the panko breadcrumbs.

8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy topping, broil the dish for 2-3 minutes after baking. You can also use a combination of different cheeses, such as parmesan or fontina, to customize the flavor.
