Description

Crispy tater tots loaded with melted cheese, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, sour cream, and fresh cilantro – a delicious twist on classic nachos that’s perfect for parties and game days.

Ingredients

– 32 ounces frozen tater tots

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 cup diced tomatoes

– 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)

– 1/2 cup sour cream

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a large baking sheet.

3. Bake the tater tots for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

4. Remove the tater tots from the oven and top them evenly with the shredded cheddar cheese.

5. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Remove the loaded tater tots from the oven and top them with the diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, sour cream, and chopped cilantro.

7. Serve the Loaded Totchos (Tater Tot Nachos) warm, with any additional toppings or dipping sauces on the side.

Notes

For a spicier version, use more jalapeños or a mix of jalapeños and other spicy peppers. You can also experiment with different cheese varieties, such as pepper jack or a Mexican blend.
