This Lemon Garlic Roasted Turkey Breast is a simple yet flavor-packed main dish that’s perfect for any occasion. The bright lemon and aromatic garlic complement the juicy, tender turkey for an irresistible meal.
Ingredients
– 1 (4-5 lb) turkey breast, bone-in and skin-on
– 1/4 cup olive oil
– 6 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tbsp lemon zest
– 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
– 1 tsp dried thyme
– 1 tsp dried rosemary
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. – In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
3. – Rub the garlic-lemon mixture all over the turkey breast, making sure to get it under the skin as well.
4. – Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan and roast for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
5. – Let the turkey rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a crispy skin, you can broil the turkey for 2-3 minutes at the end. Baste the turkey with the pan juices halfway through cooking. Leftovers make great sandwiches or can be used in soups and casseroles.
