Ingredients

– 8 ounces linguine or fettuccine pasta

– 1 pound asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

– 2 tablespoons lemon juice

– 1 teaspoon lemon zest

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Fresh parsley, for garnish


Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the asparagus and sauté for 3-5 minutes, until crisp-tender.
