Description

Prepare to be amazed by the bold, spicy-sweet flavor of these Korean Swicy Gochujang Wings! Coated in a sticky, gochujang-based sauce and baked to crispy perfection, these wings are a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

– 2 pounds chicken wings, drumettes and flats separated

– 1/2 cup gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)

– 1/4 cup soy sauce

– 2 tablespoons honey

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon grated ginger

– 1 teaspoon sesame oil

– 2 green onions, thinly sliced

– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.

3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.

4. Arrange the coated wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway, until they are crispy and the sauce has caramelized.

6. Remove the wings from the oven and garnish with the sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

7. Serve immediately, with extra sauce for dipping if desired.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, you can toss the coated wings with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch before baking. The wings can also be air-fried instead of baked.
