Ingredients
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
– 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
– 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
1. – Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. – In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
3. – Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the onion is translucent.
4. – Season the beef mixture with salt and black pepper.
5. – In a large bowl, combine the beef mixture, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, and dried oregano. Stir until well combined.
6. – Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish.
7. – Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. – Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crunchy topping, you can sprinkle the casserole with crushed pork rinds or almond flour before baking. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
