Description

Kashmiri Pink Chai (Noon Tea) is a soothing, aromatic tea with a vibrant pink hue and a delicate, floral flavor. This traditional Kashmiri beverage is easy to make and perfect for any time of day.


Ingredients

– 4 cups water

– 4 teaspoons black tea leaves

– 1/4 cup fresh rose petals (or dried)

– 4 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed

– 1/2 cup whole milk

– 2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)


Instructions

1. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.

2. Add the black tea leaves and let steep for 3-4 minutes.

3. Add the rose petals and crushed cardamom pods. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

4. Stir in the milk and sugar. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes.

5. Strain the tea through a fine-mesh sieve into serving mugs or cups.

6. Enjoy the Kashmiri Pink Chai (Noon Tea) hot, garnished with additional rose petals if desired.

Notes
