Description
These Jalapeño Popper Crescent Rolls are a delightful and easy-to-make appetizer that combines the flavors of spicy jalapeños, creamy cheese, and flaky crescent dough. Perfect for parties, game days, or any occasion!
Ingredients
– 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
– 4 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 2 jalapeño peppers, sliced (seeds removed for less heat, if desired)
– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
– Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeño slices, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
4. Place a heaping tablespoon of the cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
5. Roll the dough up, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the pointed end, to enclose the filling.
6. Place the rolled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
8. Serve the Jalapeño Popper Crescent Rolls warm, with a side of ranch or sour cream for dipping, if desired.
Notes
For a less spicy version, you can use fewer jalapeños or remove the seeds. You can also experiment with different cheese varieties, such as pepper jack or cream cheese with chives.
