Ingredients
– 2 large oranges, juiced and zested
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup water
Instructions
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the orange juice, zest, sugar, and water.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has dissolved.
3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes or until it reaches the hard candy stage (300°F on a candy thermometer).
4. Carefully pour the hot candy mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Allow the candy to cool completely, then break it into bite-sized pieces.
