Ingredients

– 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cubed

– 2 tbsp butter

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tbsp grated ginger

– 1 tsp garam masala

– 1 tsp ground cumin

– 1 tsp paprika

– 1 tsp chili powder

– 1 cup tomato sauce

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

– Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. – In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.

2. – Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

3. – Stir in the onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

4. – Add the garam masala, cumin, paprika, and chili powder. Stir to coat the chicken.

5. – Pour in the tomato sauce and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

6. – Remove from heat and stir in the chopped cilantro.

7. – Season with salt and pepper to taste.

8. – Serve hot over basmati rice or with naan bread.

Notes

For a spicier version, add an extra pinch of chili powder. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
