Ingredients
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 3/4 cup milk
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1/2 cup orange and black sprinkles
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan.
2. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the 1/2 cup of softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. 3. Gradually stir in the milk until a soft dough forms. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead briefly.
4. 4. Roll the dough into a 12×8-inch rectangle. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Brush the dough with the 1/4 cup of melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
5. 5. Tightly roll up the dough from the short side and slice into 12 equal pieces. Arrange the rolls, cut-side down, in the prepared baking pan.
