Ingredients

– 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons brown sugar

– 2 tablespoons fish sauce

– 1 stalk lemongrass, tender white part only, finely chopped

– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil


Instructions

1. 1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, garlic, brown sugar, fish sauce, lemongrass, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.

2. 2. Cover the bowl and marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.

3. 3. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

4. 4. Brush the grill grates or pan with the vegetable oil.

5. 5. Add the marinated chicken and grill for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
