Description

This classic Green Bean Casserole is a comforting and delicious side dish that’s perfect for any holiday or family gathering. Tender green beans are baked in a creamy mushroom sauce and topped with crispy fried onions for the ultimate in flavor and texture.


Ingredients

– 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

– 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

– 1/2 cup milk

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

– 1 (2.8 oz) can french fried onions


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. – In a large bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

3. – Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish.

4. – Bake for 25 minutes.

5. – Remove from oven and top with the french fried onions.

6. – Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and crispy.

7. – Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a creamier texture, use 3/4 cup of milk. For a crunchier topping, add an extra 1/2 cup of french fried onions.
