Description

Indulge in the perfect balance of creamy goat cheese, sweet roasted apples, and a heavenly cinnamon drizzle with this delicious flatbread recipe. It’s a comforting and easy-to-make treat that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza dough

– 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled

– 2 medium apples, thinly sliced

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 tsp ground cinnamon

– 2 tbsp honey

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. 2. Roll out the flatbread dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired size and shape.

3. 3. Brush the dough with 1 tbsp of olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.

4. 4. Arrange the sliced apples over the dough, overlapping slightly.

5. 5. Crumble the goat cheese over the top of the apples.

6. 6. Drizzle the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil and the honey over the flatbread.

7. 7. Sprinkle the cinnamon evenly over the top.

8. 8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

9. 9. Let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

For an extra crispy crust, you can pre-bake the flatbread for 5 minutes before adding the toppings. Experiment with different types of apples, such as Honeycrisp or Gala, for varying flavors. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or toaster oven.
